Terms and Conditions – Flow Balance

1. Who we are

Flow Balance is operated by SC DYNAMIC HUMAN RESOURCES GRUP SRL, registered office at Cpt. Gh. Preotescu nr. 16, sector 4, București, Trade Register no. J40/10246/2004, VAT ID RO16539827 (“Flow Balance”, “we”, “us”). By using the app, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

2. What Flow Balance is

Flow Balance is a wellbeing and emotional self-care app. It offers guided exercises and audio content to support your wellbeing.

3. NOT a medical service

Flow Balance is not a medical or psychotherapy service and does not replace consultation, diagnosis, or treatment by a psychologist, psychotherapist, or psychiatrist. Content is for information and support only. We do not provide emergency services. If you are in crisis or have a health concern, seek professional help; in an emergency call 112 in Romania or your local emergency number. Do not ignore or delay medical advice because of something you read or used in the app.

4. Eligibility, age, and accepting these terms

Flow Balance is intended for users who are at least 16 years old. Users under 16 may use the app only together with a parent or legal guardian, who creates the account and consents to use and to processing of account data.

By creating an account and accepting these terms in the app, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old or that you have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the service. From age 16, under Romanian law, you may use the app independently.

5. Your account

To use the app you create an account with your name and email. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for notifying us of unauthorized use at contact@flowbalance.app.

6. Your data stays with you

Flow Balance does not include journal, mood tracking, or saved reflection features in the app. Your program progress (practices completed, audio position) and app settings are stored on your device. What we process on our servers (account, content preferences, progress metadata) is described in our Privacy Policy. If you change devices or uninstall the app, locally stored progress may be lost.

7. Premium options and automatic renewal

The app is free in its basic form. Some features are available through a paid premium subscription, processed online via Stripe (integrated through Clerk). Payment is not made through the App Store or Google Play.

Prices and billing period (monthly or annual) are shown in the subscription flow before you confirm payment, at https://www.flowbalance.app/subscribe-web.

By confirming a subscription you agree to recurring payment: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (month or year) at the displayed price until you cancel. Cancelling stops renewal; premium access usually remains until the end of the current paid period.

8. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

Under Romanian and EU consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving a reason.

To withdraw, send us an unequivocal statement (for example an email to contact@flowbalance.app). We refund amounts received within 14 days of your notice, using the same payment method unless we agree otherwise.

9. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the management page: in the app go to Settings → Manage subscription (or Abonament), which opens your browser at https://www.flowbalance.app/billing-web. There you can view your plan, billing, and cancellation options (via Stripe, through Clerk). Cancelling stops automatic renewal; premium access usually remains until the end of the current paid period.

Important: deleting the app from your phone does not automatically cancel your subscription — use the subscription management page above. If you delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete my account), Pro auto-renewal is canceled automatically; premium access usually remains until the end of the current paid period.

10. Permitted and prohibited use

You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or decompile the app, use it unlawfully, or disrupt it technically.

11. Intellectual property

App content (text, audio, design) belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. Content you create remains yours.

12. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for unforeseeable or indirect losses or for use of the app outside its intended purpose. Flow Balance is not a medical service (see section 3). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or affects your mandatory rights as a consumer.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close your account for serious breach of these terms or if required by law. You may close your account at any time in the app.

14. Changes

We may change these terms for legal, security, or product reasons. We will give advance notice of material changes. Continued use means you accept the changes.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes are resolved by the competent courts in Romania. As a consumer, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
